In Good Faith
Describe a memory or encounter in which you considered your faith, religion, spirituality — or lack of — for the first time.
I was 17 years old when my niece passed. She was buried on her 2nd birthday. I questioned my faith and I also relied upon my faith to pull me through. No doubt the traumatic event was both a turning point for me and my views in general with emphasis in faith. Through my nieces passing I learned how to ask ‘How’ as opposed to ‘Why’ which I have implemented in my life to this day. ‘How’ is much more productive and a thousand times less negative than the beast ‘Why.’ A loss teaching me a tremendous about impacting my life forever.
