My BIG Day!

Big Day Ahead
It’s the night before an important event: a big exam, a major presentation, your wedding. How do you calm your nerves in preparation for the big day?

Usually I TRY to clear my head completely. Attempting to scatter my thoughts on anything BUT the looming event. I generally save my ‘hyper focus’ closer to the impending affair (an hour or so before). My strategy is simple – I spend weeks thoroughly prepping as far in advance as possible, thus when the big occurrence hits, I’m less anxious, I feel more in control. My time closer to the happening can be used to review and do a bit of last minute prep on specific issues of concern. Relaxation is essential, panic towards the end spells doom for this girlie. The more advanced my efforts, the more positive the end result. A recipe always proving favorable in my experience.
